Integrate Google Signup and retrieve profile information from Google using OAuth2.0 for Web Applications

  • Create a project in Google developer console
  • Create oAuth client ID
  • Use the code snippet given below in your web application.
  1. Go to the Credentials page.
  2. Click Create credentials and select OAuth client ID.
  3. Select the Web application type.
  4. Name your OAuth 2.0 client
  5. In the Authorized Javascript origins field, add the HTTP origin that hosts your application.
  6. Enter the redirect URI in case you want users to be redirected to a new path on the successful authentication with Google. The path will be appended with an authorization code by Google.
  7. Click on the create button.
