  • On your Mac, click the Apple icon
  • Click System Preferences
  • Click General
  • Click the Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud device’s box.
  • On your iPad, open Settings.
  • Tap General
  • Tap AirPlay & Handoff.
  • Tap the Handoff toggle to turn it on.
  • Tap the Cursor and Keyboard toggle to turn it on.
